Hey Crow,
I did notice that as well, but I believe the new changes took effect. I was having an issue with th 6.7 release that caused my digital panel to lose a setting to fill the screen each time I logged out. Now it saves the digital panel setting. Looks like it was corrected with the new update even if they forgot to update the version ID.

Overall the machine was doing fine. Then I loaded Steam and Counter Strike Force. The game loaded and I got playing. Then, at a point with a lot going on visually, the game froze and crashed. The machine also froze and I had to hit the re-set button. I got this several times in a row. I checked my firewall, and even ran in a window to check for a warning. Nothing there. I then tried Day of Defeat. Same problems repeated themselves. I went back to Quake4 and FEAR. No problems running them. I then tried the Dark Messiah demo. It froze on the load page, after four attempts I gave up.
I have a similar problem.

I installed the 6.8 drivers, and began noticing hard computer crashes to the point where my video card/monitor would turn off. Sometimes when I reset my comp, I would get bad BIOS checksum errors to go along with it. I reverted back to 6.3, and now I'm having the same crashing problem with them too. The crashes seem to happen once when I load up a game, then after a computer restart (or several to get rid of the checksum errors) I can play fine the rest of the night.

I'm not sure what the cause of the problem is. I've run HD error checks, anti-virus and anti-trojan checks, and nothing. The event log also doesn't show any errors. If anyone knows a way to find out what's wrong on my computer, PLEASE let me know!
