Interesting post. This months issue of Maximum PC was discussing Windows Tweaks - what are myths and which ones actuall work. This was one they said actually works and gave about a 10% increase in performance based on the benchmarks they ran.
I have never benchmarked it myself but I do have my pagefile on a secondary drive and I can't "feel" the difference when using the system. My main O/S drive is a WD Raptor @ 10,000 RPM and my pagefile is on a WD Caviar @ 7200 RPM. Would you guys think there would be a difference? What do you recommend to benchmark it with?
